About Us
Oregon Wild Berries Inc. started in the bay of a pole building approved for a commercial kitchen in 1987. We started making jams using the rare Little Wild Blackberries and moved into using Huckleberries and Chokecherries. Needing more room, we purchased our current building in 1990 and started Berry Patch Restaurant and Gift Shop. We now sell 22 types of jam, jelly, and syrups available in several different sizes.
We are located in Westport, Oregon on US Route 30, 25 miles east of Astoria, in the foothills of the Oregon coast range where berries grow wild in the temperate forests. Our community is rich in our countries historical narrative as written by Lewis and Clark. We are a short ferry ride to Washington state to the north.
